To delete unwanted songs on iPhone and free up space, click the name of your iPhone, go to the "Music" tab. Here you can select unwanted songs and click the "Delete" button with a trash can icon.

Note: To avoid data loss, you'd better back up iPhone music to computer before delete and transfer. Select all songs on the Music tab, right click and select "Export to PC".
